Hey Neoplasm, do you remember this? It would seem to still be lurking out on the web. Archives are so fun when the links are still good.
We are PUBLISHED.... AGAIN!!
Hoopy
Sorry for the new template. I saved the old look in a saved txt file. Some of the linky stuffs were all broken. Must fix/save. It seems to have republished all my previous posts with my updated name. BTW- This is Cranitator - formerly known as Talkietoaster.

I've been curious about games of late as well. But I know nothing of nothing of nothing about them. So - if you learn a bit about the good ones - do share.
This new format. -Bleah. Just bleah. --That is all.

Um, new format is freaking me out! On Yahoo games last night I downloaded a cool game called Typer Shark. I are a excellent typist, and I had a great time. After squandering about an hour typing everything they threw my way, I was thinking this would be an excellent way to upkeep my typing skills, and then a thingie popped up and said my free download period was over and I needed to pony up some cash if I wanted to play any more. Harumph! My computer crashes waaaaay too often for me to fork over cash for a game only to lose it and have to re-buy it mere weeks later. I suppose I need to invest in some game cds or sumpin'. Any suggestions?
Annlet - I plan to come to Trivia on the 25th, if you think you'll be there then. It'll be so great to see you - it's been way too long! Will Babs be there too?

:o) Tonight was the last night of my silversmithing class for the semester, and a crazy lady at school (the other students call her "Baby Jane") freaked out and got herself arrested by trying to attack our teacher. It was bizarre.

Yup. He'll prolly get to fly home for the weekend every 2 or 3 weeks, but that's going to get old, I think.
Husbandlet is going to Ohio in a couple weeks for work, and he's s'pose ta be there through September. I'm sorta dazed that he's going to be gone so long. He'll get to come home for a weekend now and then, but it's gonna be weird.

how are the athiests? are they fun atheists? or glum atheists? --
I KNEW there was an IKEA in Houston or somewhere on me path. Behzad kept saying we've never been to IKEA he'd only in been in Sweden without me and I said no way we went to IKEA together - I just can't remember where it is. HOUSTON! I win!!

I hope the planet doesn't reel and flip on its axis (axes?) when I finally get the place organized. Me cleaning house could unleash the first horseman of the apocalypse...

OK. here's how it went. The major task was laundry. I got all my little piles prepped, stain treated, etc., and got the first load in the washer. Then they turned off the water in my building all day to repair some pipes. After 6 hours of waiting, I was finally able to finish the first load. The universe conspires to keep my home an array of filth! argh. So I went out and shopped at the hardware store and bought a new ceiling fan. ...Michigan? That'll be cool, right? ...Annlet, I'll come to Trivia night wit choo after the semester is over. Tuesdays and Thursdays kick my butt since I work til 6 and go straight to class downtown.

I am cleaning my house today for the first time in months. Wish me luck. I'll report back later when I need to take a break.

Wow. I hate funerals.
I'm home now - which is here instead of there - and it's cold. Sorry I didn't have time for visits - my mom had surgery and doctor's appointments and then we had to leave early to scope out Virginia - where there is yet another interview.
I be tired.

No worries, Annlet! Heaven knows I get so unbelievably busy myself. No sense fretting over it, and I'd only want you to come if it fit with your schedule, rather than try to juggle commitments. I am sort of vieiwng it as a trial run, seeing if I could swing set up and tear down easily, and if I liked the format. I was pleased with my display which was flower pot saucers in various color glazes as well as the raw terra cotta, then filled with different colored grains, including barley, sushi rice, mung beans, black beans, and red green and gold lentils, then I arranged the jewelry in the pot with the best contrasting beans/grain. It was a pretty display, and I got some fabulous silks from India to cover the tables with, so I'm happy with a well-working concept. Almost everyone who came commented on the display. ...Bryan's paternal grandmother died last Tuesday, and his parents didn't even go to the funeral. I felt sad for Bryan, because he must have felt awkward about his parents not showing up. Something to do with long-harbored resentments and hurt feelings that are just a vague memory and now a habit. Pathetic.

You'll be here??? In texas??? I dunno if I was great, but I sold a little bit, and made one potentially big contact for future dealings, and all from the comfort of a pretty safe environment, so that's cool. :o)
I bet you were great. Were you great? I bet you were. -- I'm away, which is here. Here I am. But I'll be there, over there - shortly.

OK. I'm getting freaky outey about my show this weekend. After weeks pinioned by lethargy bordering on catatonic, I have entered my state of mania. Will I suck? Will anyone buy anything? (not soliciting here). Feel frustrated and depressed that avocadotree.com didn't mention my show on their website and use the photo they borrowed from me for a month. Will I make a pitiful showing of it? Will anyone show up at all? Just a wee bit stressed out. ...and miles to go before I sleep.

I think the trackback is cumbersome. I like the idea of it, but there ought to be a better way.
And I think Doug should come up with it.

Tonight we went to sing karaoke at a bar near American Airlines HQ. It was fun. Lots of shitty singing. Puke and doodoo everywhere. I sang a Patsy Cline--when oh when will I learn?-- and my friend and I did "Tainted Love." She looked great and sounded bad, and I sounded good and looked bad. If we could morph, we could be one helluva little performer! ...Lots of weird drama going on with the tenants at the apartments, and living there puts me in some awkward positions. I think this may get really bad, actually. Going to be interesting... still too busy to try and fiddle with the backtrack, but I wanna.
Monday, March 22, 2004
OK. I'm going to try to set up a trackback sometime this week - I looked at your instructions and sorta glazed over, talkie, but I'll bet I can do it. I think I can! I think I can!... Did anyone hear they are doing a new Doctor Who film (or series???) and it's going to star the divine Christopher Eccleston (he was the nutter roommate in "Shallow Grave") Yum!

Zwoot! I have successfully tracked the back. AND - I fixed the permanent link which was not working and I didn't even know about it.

I am going to go to Bonnaroo this summer. Woot! Babs, her boyfriend, their roommate, and I are going to rent an RV and it is going to be rockin' man. I am soooo excited.

Ooh - Miss Ann. Me thoughts you were gone for good. It was sad sad.
Agh! It's trash day! I forgot the trash!

tee hee. I dunno about the comments - I try to make my posts interesting for the reader in addition to much-needed therapy for myself. Sorry I've been so MIA lately, but I've much occupied with the jewelry, and I've been working at the office of the lofts I live in. I'm actually being so much more productive with my time in general. They are probably going to do a re-model in our apartment and expand it a wee bit in May, which I rather dread. I expect it will be just like a move because we'll have to schlep everything to the other end of the apartment and the apartment will be covered in dust, no doubt, but in the end the space will be much more workable for me and the husbles, too. Bryan hates that he can't get away from the smutty tv i watch since the loft is a huge open space with no discrete rooms, so after this we'll technically have 2 bedrooms and a lot more storage space with little sacrifice of the open feeling I love so much. We just bought a huge piece of furniture (a really cool cabinet) that is 8feet x 8.5 feet that should help with storage and all that, and we can get rid of several other smaller catch-all pieces of furniture, and things should look a wee bit more sleek. I'm sick of feeling like my apartment is a nightmare tumble of my projects and possessions. I don't ever foresee having a magazine-worthy space, but I'd settle for no more of the pile of crap a la Close Encounters. Ya know what i mean?
